Painting, Showers, and Noodles
I took pictures and even edited them, but didn't get around to posting them so here are my catch-ups.
Day 11- When she's not coloring, she's painting.
Day 12- Her favorite "chore". . . watering the flowers. She's very meticulous if you can't tell.
Day 13- Shower time (with a swim suit). The water may be a bit cold.
Day 14- Lunch time. Mmmm Ramen. He loves to use a fork like he's all grown up.

Day 8- A favorite activity of all my kids. Remove all the cushions and make forts or do tricks. Gotta love these couches.

Pretend Horse
Day 7-Playing with Daddy. Everyday I get asked at least 3 times, "When is Dad getting home?" Obviously they have a lot of fun together in the evenings.

Little Climber
Day 6-This little guy has learned to climb on the chair in the bathroom to reach the sink like his older siblings. He's very proud of himself every time he does it. . . as you can tell. He also enjoys seeing himself in the mirror and giggles and giggles.

Rainy Day and Color Time
So I'm going to cheat a bit for Day 4. I didn't love my selection of photos from yesterday (and didn't have time to post) so I'm stealing one to post today.
For the second time in two days we got all ready to go play outside and then it started pouring rain. My poor kids that just want to go outside. . .
Day 5- This girl pretty much colors all day everyday. She's just finishing a family portrait on our driveway. . . after the rain had cleared.

Cereal Times Two
Here's day two. . . from breakfast this morning. He usually heaps his spoon as much as he can with cereal and uses his hand to help scoop it into his mouth. I guess today he found a way to keep his hands clean. I wonder how long until he just finds a bigger spoon. :)

A Day in the Life #1
So I took some pictures not too long ago and realized I had gotten rusty. I really don't take enough pictures to improve or enjoy myself as much as I could. So I decided I would start another photo project (the reason I started this blog in the first place). I'll try one of the daily assignment ones later, but for this month I'm going to try something I've wanted to do for a while. . . just take normal storytelling photos of my kids without making sure their hair is perfect or they're wearing cute outfits. I want to capture real life and the things they do each day when they're doing it. I'm going to be one of those annoying people who carries their camera everywhere. Hopefully I'll capture some real photos and get some good practice too. So here is my first post.
After lunch today my daughter and I went out on our back deck for some sunshine. Not to long later, this cute little guy joined us with his favorite snack. Whenever he finds the pantry open he grabs a box (or 5) of cereal and helps himself.
"Let's Hear It for the Girls!"
Here's my entry for this month's challenge over at I Heart Faces. My daughter was playing pretend in our living room and I noticed the great light and picked up my camera. I love how this picture of my beautiful girl turned out.
